Nissan Juke Owners Manual : Rear window and outside mirror defroster switch

Type B
To defog/defrost the rear window glass and outside mirrors (if so equipped), start the engine and push the switch 1 on. The indicator light 2 will illuminate. Push the switch again to turn the defroster off.
It will automatically turn off in approximately 15 minutes.
CAUTION
When cleaning the inner side of the rear window, be careful not to scratch or damage the rear window defroster.
Rear window wiper and washer switch
WARNING
In freezing temperatures the washer solution may freeze on the rear window
glass and obscure your vision. Warm the rear window with the defroster before you
wash the rear window.

Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK GROUND CONNECTIONS
1. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 20 seconds.
2. Check ground connection E38. Refer to Ground inspection in GI-44, "Circuit
Inspection".
Is the inspection result normal?
