1.CHECK BACK-UP LAMP SWITCH
1. Disconnect position switch connector. Refer to TM-77, "Removal and Installation".
2. Check continuity between position switch terminals.
Is the inspection result normal? YES >> INSPECTION END
NO >> Replace position switch. Refer to TM-77, "Removal and Installation".

1. Select “DOOR LOCK” of “BCM” using CONSULT-III.
2. Select “KEY ON SW” in “DATA MONITOR” mode.
3. Check that the function operates normally according to the following
conditions.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Key switch is OK.

Description
The output voltage of the alternator is controlled by the IC voltage
regulator at the “S” terminal detecting the
input voltage.
The “S” terminal circuit detects the battery voltage to adjust the alternator
output voltage with the IC voltage
regulator.
