Nissan Leaf 2018-2025 (ZE1) Owner's Manual : Precautions when starting and driving
WARNING
- Do not leave young children or adults who would normally require the physical support of others unattended or alone in your vehicle. Pets should not be left alone inside the cabin either. They could accidentally injure themselves or others through the inadvertent operation of the gear selector, power windows, or other vehicle controls. Also, on hot, sunny days, internal temperatures in a closed Nissan Leaf could quickly become high enough to cause severe, irreversible, or possibly fatal injuries to people or animals.
- Properly secure all trunk cargo and loose items with reliable ropes or tie-down straps to help prevent it from sliding, rolling, or shifting during sudden maneuvers. Do not place cargo or luggage higher than the rear seatbacks. In the event of a sudden stop, evasive maneuver, or collision, unsecured cargo could act as a dangerous projectile and cause severe personal injury to the occupants of your Nissan Leaf.
