CAUTION

• Do not leave the bulb housing open or the bulb out of the headlight reflector for an extended period. The entry of dust, moisture, or other atmospheric contaminants into the headlight body can severely degrade internal reflective coatings and bulb performance.
• The halogen bulb contains high-pressure gas. The glass envelope may shatter if scratched, dropped, or subjected to sudden impact; handle with extreme care.
• Only touch the metal base when handling or installing a halogen bulb. Never make contact with the glass envelope.

  Oils from your skin left on the glass envelope can create hotspots that significantly shorten the bulb's lifespan and adversely affect the lighting performance of your Nissan Leaf.

2. Gently pull the entire rear combination assembly outward, following the motion shown in the illustration (2).

3. Rotate the bulb sockets counter-clockwise to unlock them, then safely remove and replace the bulbs (3).
