Tilt and telescopic operation

Instructional diagram showing the mechanical lock lever under the steering column and the adjustment paths

To alter the driving posture, push the mechanical adjustment lock lever 1 straight down to release the column grip:

  • Manually tilt the steering wheel housing up or down along path 2 to match your eye line and shoulder height.
  • Extend or telescope the steering wheel assembly forward or backward along path 3 to establish an ergonomic distance from your seat.

Once your ideal position is found, pull the mechanical lock lever 1 back up firmly to its original home position to completely lock the steering wheel rigidity in place.
