• If you absolutely must make or receive a call while your Nissan Leaf is in motion, utilizing the integrated hands-free cellular phone operational mode is highly recommended. Exercise extreme driving caution at all times so that full visual and mental attention may be given to overall vehicle operation.
• If you find yourself unable to devote full, undivided attention to vehicle operation while talking on the phone, pull off the road completely to a safe location and stop your vehicle before continuing the conversation.

CAUTION

• Keep the external transceiver antenna as far away as physically possible from any of the high-voltage or low-voltage electronic control modules.
• Keep the raw antenna coaxial wire more than 8 inches (20 cm) away from the factory electronic control system wiring harnesses. Do not route the transceiver antenna wire parallel to or right next to any vehicle wiring harness.
• Accurately adjust the antenna standing-wave ratio (SWR) as recommended by the equipment manufacturer to avoid radio frequency interference feedback.
• Securely connect the dedicated ground wire from the CB radio chassis directly to a clean, bare metal point on the vehicle body framework.
• For additional technical installation information regarding radio equipment compatibility with the EV drivetrain, it is recommended that you visit a NISSAN certified LEAF dealer.
