Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1. Remove instrument lower panel (LH/RH). Refer to IP-13, "Removal and Installation".
2. Remove fixing screw, and then remove in-vehicle sensor from instrument lower panel (LH/RH).
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

P1723 speed sensor
Description
The secondary speed sensor detects the revolution of parking gear and
generates a pulse signal. The pulse
signal is sent to the TCM, which converts it into vehicle speed.
The prymary speed sensor detects the primary pulley revolution speed and sends a
signal to the TCM.

Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK “AUTOMATIC LOCK/UNLOCK SELECT” SETTING IN “WORK SUPPORT”
1. Select “DOOR LOCK” of “BCM” using CONSULT-III.
2. Select “AUTOMATIC LOCK/UNLOCK SELECT” in “WORK SUPPORT” mode.
3. Check “AUTOMATIC LOCK/UNLOCK SELECT” in “WORK SUPPORT”.
